Maeyom Palace Hotel

Maeyom Palace Hotel is one of the older hotels in Phrae City. It is popular because of its large swimming pool which is also available for visitors.

It has a good location close to downtown with an estimated one km walk to the market and city center. It was built in the 80's and can feel a bit old-fashioned, however it more than makes up for it with friendly service and very good food. The breakfast especially is highly recommended.

The place itself is huge and has a large car park which can be a bonus downtown.

The rooms are spacious and clean.

Now to my favorite part, the swimming pool. Probably the largest, private swimming pool in Phrae, mostly quite empty and quite charming. Customers of the hotel can of course use it for free, expats like me can pay 60 BHT for admittance plus 10 BHT per towel which is very fair.
